Hey there little guy! Welcome to the family!!!
This pencil drawing has been in the works since OCTOBER. I started him for the documentary that Stephen and I collaborated on, and then he got pushed to the back burner. Well, he’s been staring at me for long enough from the corner of my drafting table, so I made it a priority to get him finished this week.
Title: Raccoon
Size: 5×7
Medium: Graphite pencil on paper
Favorite part: The fur on the bottom left side, his ears, and the space between his eyes. Random, I know!
Least favorite part: Getting the fur just right. There are some spots that I feel like I could have worked it better, but I was really struggling with it and was afraid of ruining the whole thing. Sometimes it’s better to finish while you’re slightly unhappy than to have to start over from scratch!
